Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Carpenter Trade Certification, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, Carpenter Red Seal Endorsement

Experience: 5 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: Construction

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Roads and bridges

Area of Specialization: Rough carpentry, Form work

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Site Environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
