Salary: $12.00 to $16.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus

Skill Requirements:

Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Area of Design Specialization: General graphic design, Commercial art, Advertising, Publications, Books

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw

Work Setting: Book publisher

Type of Technical Illustration: Technical, Commercial

Specific Skills: Consult with clients to establish nature and context of designs and illustrations for reproduction, Prepare specifications for design, Produce final designs or illustrations

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use

Other Information:Ad preparation and layout for telephone directories. Excellent organizational skills, speed and accuracy a must. Good telephone communication skills required.
